Jangpura residents get a new foot-over bridge!

To ensure the safe movement for the pedestrian traffic and especially for the residents of Jangpura, a foot-over-bridge (FOB) has been built on Lala Lajpat Rai Marg. Today, Saturday, 21 September 2013, the foot-over-bridge was formally inaugurated and opened for use by the public.

Built by DIMTS (Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System Ltd.) on behalf of Transport Department, GNCTD, the FOB will be beneficial for the residents of Jangpura and people using the Jangpura metro station. Located near the Pant Nagar bus stop and the Jangpura metro station, the FOB provides safe and easy access to both the bus stop and the metro station.

Approximately 37 meters long, 2.8 meters wide and 5.8 meters high, the FOB has lifts on both sides for the differently-abled and elderly.
